Seven Years (Seven #1) by Dannika Dark + REVIEW

Genre: Fantasy, Paranormal, Romance, Shapeshifter, Werewovles, Adult.

Seven years ago, my world ended.
Seven years later, my new life began.

It's been seven years since Lexi Knight lost her brother in a tragic accident. On the anniversary of his death, her brother's best friend shows up unexpectedly - a man she hasn't seen since the funeral. He is no longer the boy Lexi once knew, but a dangerous-looking man with tattoos and dark secrets. He broke her trust and abandoned her family, yet what he reveals makes it impossible to stay angry. Lexi has been secretly infatuated with Austin since childhood, so finding out he's a Shifter just makes him sexier. Dammit.

Austin Cole has returned to the city where he grew up, and just in time. He's lived a hard life these past seven years, and the shadows of his past are threatening to destroy Lexi's family. It's time that she learned the truth about her brother, but there is a shocking twist that Austin never saw coming. Now he must protect her family when her mother and sister wind up in mortal danger. Will Lexi learn to accept the truth about who he is, and can Austin salvage a relationship from the ruins of their past?

Destiny will find you.
A romance series that will sweep you off your feet.

I loved everything about this book.

It had a perfect amount of suspense always kept me on my toes wondering what’s going to happen next.

I could imagine the characters perfectly even when they shifted that what matter most when reading a shifter read, you always want a perfect image of how it feels, what the animal looks like, how it feels when senses are heightened and how loyal a pack family is, and Dannika described it amazingly.

There was only a couple of sex scenes which was great because it gives a book
the right amount of spice and has you desiring more, it can also take away from where you're trying to get with the characters if you add too many but the author clearly knew how to keep her readers interested.

Austin being the younger bother of 6 other brothers and out rank all of them was definitely
a big job for someone who has lived as long as his family plus taking care of all of his
brothers including trying to make his pack bigger seems like a tough job but Austin is clearly making it work and it shows how loyal the pack is and how much Austin is right for the job.

Lexi was really cool in this book normally someone in her situation would freak out and
call herself crazy and be a little overbearing in the book. But she handled her family
and everything else that came in her way like a champ she took her situations head on and set rules right away like the alpha's mate should and definitely took on a motherly role for her sister and Austin's family.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good shifter/romance/suspense book its definitely a great read and I would so read this book again.
